Celloxy

A non-invasive therapy that alternates, in a controlled manner, phases of air with lower and higher oxygen concentration, breathed through a mask under continuous monitoring, stimulating cellular adaptation and mitochondrial function.

What it is

How Celloxy Therapy (IHHT) works

During a Celloxy session, the patient remains lying down and breathes, through a mask, mixtures of air with alternating oxygen concentrations (hypoxic phases, with less oxygen, and normoxic or hyperoxic phases), while oxygen saturation and vital signs are continuously monitored.

It is a non-invasive and comfortable procedure, geared towards cellular adaptation, support for mitochondrial function and recovery, based on the body's physiological response to controlled oxygen variation.

The therapy is based on alternating stimuli of low and normal/elevated oxygen concentration. The controlled hypoxic stimulus activates cellular adaptation mechanisms, associated with the renewal and quality control of mitochondria. Scientific interest in how cells detect and adapt to oxygen was recognised with the 2019 Nobel Prize in Medicine.
CE-Marked Medical Device.
Before starting, a test is carried out to assess the patient's individual response and help rule out risks.

The parameters, duration and number of sessions are defined on a case-by-case basis by the medical team.
What it is for

In which contexts it may be considered

Intermittent hypoxic-hyperoxic therapy is sought mainly in the context of recovery, performance and well-being. It may be considered, following medical assessment, in situations such as:

Support for recovery and energy levels Performance optimisation (altitude training) Support for cellular adaptation and mitochondrial function General well-being
Care process

Our clinical approach

01

Medical assessment and initial test

Each plan is defined following a consultation, clinical assessment and a test that measures the individual response to oxygen variation.

02

Screening for contraindications

Medical history and any cardiac or respiratory conditions are reviewed before each session.

03

Continuous monitoring

Oxygen saturation and vital signs are monitored throughout the entire session.

04

Individualised protocol

The phases, their duration and intensity are adjusted to the needs and tolerance of each individual.

05

Comfort and support

The patient remains lying down, breathing quietly, under continuous professional supervision.

06

Integration into a broader health plan

The therapy complements (and does not replace) medical follow-up and healthy lifestyle habits.
